Plaque placed on house in 1932 celebrating George Washington's 200th birthday
Newspaper clipping is from 1932 when Taneytown held the Washington Bicentennial Celebration. The Historical Society of Carroll County in Westminster has the original Adam Good Tavern door latch on display that George Washington once used for entry.
